JOPI's acceptance rate is 21 % of the more than 110 major manuscripts it receives annually. In 2025, the median time for an initial editorial decision for submitted manuscripts was 17 days; the median time from submission to acceptance for all articles was 68 days, and 7 days from acceptance to online publication.
